BETA PUBLIC DEETS

Okay, Camden People’s Theatre’s website has been taken down (undoubtedly the result of some widespread and deep-rooted anti-awesome conspiracy), so here’s the deets for tonight’s Beta Public:

DOORS + GAMES + DRINKS: 7pm

PERFORMANCE + TALKS: 8pm

MORE GAMES + DRINKS: 9pm onwards

So: turn up any time before 8pm to start hanging out and playing games, then we’ve got some performance and talks in the theatre from 8pm, then there’s more hanging out and playing games. Dope (?).

Tix are £10/£8 concessions, available on the door.

Here’s how to get to CPT, which is at 58-60 Hampstead Road, London NW1 2PY, nearest tubes Warren Street/Euston Square. Euston’s not an awful walk either.

BETA PUBLIC #2

As part of Camden People’s Theatre’s Calm Down, Dear festival, we are presenting the SECOND EVER BETA PUBLIC, showcasing games, talks and performance engaged with feminism! It’s on November 8th, you can book tickets here: http://www.cptheatre.co.uk/event_details.php?sectionid=theatre&eventid=720&searchid=current

and here’s an image of the poster, which will give you a taste of whose games and performances we’re hosting!

Oh yeah.

BETA PUBLIC #1

We did the pilot for BETA PUBLIC on June 14th, 2013 at Camden People’s Theatre, and it was a bit of a whopper. Loads of lovely people showed up, there was some cool cross-pollination between game-lovers and performance-lovers, and everyone seemed to have a lot of fun! Here’s the lineup, for archive-y purposes:

Ervax For 2 – Copenhagen Game Collective
Art Game – Pippin Barr
30 Flights Of Loving – Blendo Games
Limits & Demonstrations – Cardboard Computer
Icefishing V – Nate Gallardo
Spaceteam – Sleeping Beast Games
A Bastard – George Buckenham
